We felt so comfortable with Ryan from the moment we met him which carried on with his team on our wedding day. They were attentive and captured all the key moments but also were able to make us laugh and fun and at the same time forget they were even there! Our final edit was more than we had hoped for (literally watched it 1000 times) and we are beyond happy we chose Aperture Lane for our special day.
• Sara B.
Did Sara envision finding the love of her life and having a big fat Jewish wedding after moving to Toronto for work? Probably not. We had the privilege of meeting these two love birds, and capturing the epic conclusion of their dating relationship and the wonderful beginning of their forever laughing and enjoying the little moments in life together. Here’s their story.
[...] Ryan's voice was a gentle voice of support throughout the most important and hectic day of our lives. Most importantly, throughout all of this, he took the time to learn who we really were as a couple. This attention to detail truly showed in our video. He highlighted every special moment we wanted to see and weaved together all these beautiful pieces seamlessly into a story that still brings tears to my eyes every time I watch it! [...]
• Katie C.
We always love when two wedding cultures fuse in one event. Prasan & Katie’s day was definitely the most evident in any celebration we’ve shot so far. From the groom entering on a horse during the day to dancing lions dazzling the crowd at night, it was quite the experience! Oh… and no white dress! Here’s their story!
[...] Ryan and the Aperture Lane team were such a pleasure to work with. Not only did they shoot and produce a fantastic video but on the day of our wedding, Ryan was warm and made everyone feel very comfortable in front of the camera. [...] My husband and I absolutely love our video and will cherish it for a very very long time. [...]
• Cristina M.
With a beautiful mix of wit and heart-felt expression, Jason and Cristina's story reminds us that age is only a barrier if we let it. They also remind us that blizzards are not enough to stop weddings in Canada. Enjoy and congrats guys!
[...] Many of our friends and family still refer to the videos to recall the priceless moments of our engagement and union. We are truly grateful for Ryan and his team for dedicating themselves to quality and excellence, not just with us and also other clients who easily echo the same appreciation for them. [...]
• Chris J.
The epic finale to Chris and Kat's engagement - a gathering of just over 100 people hailing from literally all around the globe! Our couple is committed to their friends and family. They are also genuine, as witnessed in their raw and quirky wedding vows. It's always good times hanging with these two! Congrats, Chris & Katya!
[...] He helped make us feel at ease with everything. There were many things we were stressed about for our big day but the video was not one of them. Ryan was extremely professional in all his dealings with us and the other vendors. We would highly recommend his services to anyone looking to have a video done for their wedding! The result was perfect, exactly what we wanted! [...]
• Pierre L.
So, you know those love stories where the North American girl goes to Europe and falls in love with a French man with an accent? Yea, well, this is one of those! I'm very excited to present Pierre and Debbie's love story.
[...] I received a lot of positive words about “the video guys” on the day because of the warm and friendly atmosphere they helped create [...] We will always be grateful for Ryan and his team and their ability to go the extra mile with their personal touch and professionalism. To anyone planning a special day, you will feel confident and secure in choosing Aperture Lane
• Yan J.
“Beautiful things happen when we step out of our comfort zone”. Yan and Carolyn would not have met each other had it not been for their individual leaps of faith to get into occupational therapy. They then failed to resist love’s calling and, as a result, started along the best journey of their lives. Here’s Yan and Carolyn’s story
If there was a possibility to give this team a 10 out of 5.. I would do it! [...] The end product of our video collection is nothing short of breathtaking! SO different from what I've seen at other weddings... So fresh, unique, and catered to our relationship... right down to the background music! I could not be happier, my family and friends have not stopped singing their praises for what can only be described as a work of art. [...]
• Alisha K.
Jamaal and Alisha are definitely our most memorable long distance couple of 2017. Alisha represents Toronto in this relationship, but after their union, she moves to Atlanta to be with her sweet heart, Jamaal. With the strong bolds of these families, I feel for her family as they send her off BUT it makes so much sense with the way Jamaal and Alisha are perfect for one another.
The theme of this wedding is saturated with the thought of being "lucky" or "fortunate" ("Afortunado" in Spanish), from Carlos' parents expressing their gratitude for their son all the way to how these two individuals with culinary giftedness find and love each other. Their family recounts their journey with light-hearted and touching testimonies.
Imagine walking around the same campus with your future spouse and never meeting them until after graduating. This is Matt & Alison’s case; they even shared common friends and hangout spots! I’m glad they found each other because they definitely go so well together… and they’re hilarious! Here is their story!
Ryan is amazing. From his professional attitude to his attention to our needs, our wedding day was made even more special having him and his team around! About a week after our wedding he even sent us a "sneak peek" of our wedding, and reliving the day brought both my husband and I to tears. Thank you so much Aperture Lane for capturing our wedding!
• Taryn V.
For those of you who have been on this wild Aperture Lane Familia roller coaster ride long enough, you’ll recognize our groom’s handsome face from posts dating back to 2014. In addition to being a close friend of mine, Nick was my first shooting partner when I transitioned to weddings. He has since moved on to bigger and better things - one of which is Taryn. Filled with a clever balance of wit and sentimental regards, Nick and Taryn’s fun story reminds us of one of the reasons we do what we do: family
