We gotta believe in our stuff but every now and then some validation is always appreciated. And this is quite timely.

This morning I logged on to Instagram and realized I was tagged in the following post:

I was voted as one of the best wedding videographers in the Greater Toronto Area!

This was kind of a big deal for me because Best For Bride is a bridal store with a huge blog with a large social media following. Being featured on the blog could potentially be decent exposure for me and the team.

In addition to that, the validation is always nice. Like I mentioned in the first line, I believe in what I do and love the films that we are able to put together. I know the Aperture Lane family and others that find us are impacted by them too. But it’s really nice to get a shout-out from a big company like that. PLUS… having to cancel everything because of COVID can take a toll on my sanity and confidence.

Eleven other local videographers were voted on this list, some of whom I already have relationships with or have even worked with directly. It was nice to see Jonathan Productions and ZiMakesFilms in particular, because I knew I was in the right place.
