Be patient with your vendors

As we approach the one-year mark of the pandemic lockdowns, let it never be said that I’m discounting the experience of wedding couples in these times, but your wedding vendors need some love too.

Do your virtual guests feel unimportant?

In this post, I share how my friend made me feel like a second-class guest at their wedding. This experience has given me insight years later as my team and I now run livestreams at events.

Is your wedding “livestreamable”?

One does not simply “livestream an event”. Sure, if you wanna have someone whip out your phone and show your friends and family some shaky footage from the back row with poor sound, that’s possible in most cases.

3 Questions to ask your vendors before booking in the pandemic

In light of booking vendors for this year (or dare I even say, next year also), there are some key questions you should ask your wedding pros in your meetings and consultations before you sign the dotted line.

Postponing your wedding? Do this.

Deciding to keep your date or postpone is tough, especially with the rules changing so often. Do this to avoid some very complicated situations that can arise from going at it alone.

Should you book now or wait for the pandemic to die down?

In this first episode of season 3, I’m going to walk you through the pros and cons of 1) booking your vendors now and 2) waiting until things die down
